Transcripts and Verifications

Transcripts are a student's record which include an itemized list of courses taken, and grades received. Transcripts are most often requested for transferring to another academic institution or for applying to graduate school.

Effective 7/1/08 the price for an Official Transcript will be $13.00.


Incoming Transcripts (for UCSB students mailing transcripts to UCSB from another academic institution):

Currently or Previously Enrolled Students mail transcripts to:
     UCSB Office of the Registrar
     1101 Student Affairs and Administrative Services Building (SAASB)
     Santa Barbara, CA 93106-2015

New Students mail transcripts to:
     U
CSB Office of Admissions
     1210 Cheadle Hall
     Santa Barbara, CA 93106-2014


Verifications are used to confirm a student's:

A verification is requested for a variety of reasons, and is often requested by potential employers to confirm your degree from UCSB, or by insurance companies or educational lendors to verify your student status.


Important Note: Verifications are NOT the same as Official Transcripts.
