The College of Creative Studies offers courses in art, biology, chemistry/biochemistry, computer science, interdisciplinary studies, literature/creative writing, mathematics, music composition, and physics. There are no letter grades in the College of Creative Studies. Courses are offered for variable unit credit, 1-6 units, pass/no record (i.e., the course is not recorded on the student's transcript if no units are received). Four is the number of units normally given in most Creative Studies courses. CCS course listings are available prior to Pass 1 of registration for the following quarter, at the College of Creative Studies, Bldg. 494, or on the CCS homepage at http://www.ccs.ucsb.edu.
