How to order a transcript 
 

  • Produced on security paper by our vendor, Parchment
  • Include the University seal and Registrar’s signature
  • Students may include an attachment with their transcript
  • Available formats:
    • Secure PDF
    • Paper mailed in a sealed envelope
      • FedEx orders cannot be sent to P.O. Boxes
  • Processing time:
    • Secure PDF: within 1 hour
    • Paper mailed in a sealed envelope: ships within 2 business days. Time to destination is dependent on the courier selected.
  • Cost: $16.00
    • FedEx options available for additional fees

Unofficial Transcripts

GOLD 

  • Available to download or print via GOLD
  • Students who attended UCSB prior to 1987 may need to contact the Office of the Registrar before this option is available to them. Please email Transcripts@sa.ucsb.edu for assistance.
  • Cost: free

Notarized Transcripts

How to order a transcript 

  • Produced on security paper
  • Include the University seal and a jurat with wet signatures of the University Registrar and the Notary Public
  • Students may include an attachment with their transcript
  • Available on paper mailed in a sealed envelope
  • Processing time: 2 weeks
  • Cost: $41.00

General Information

  • Transcript orders cannot be completed in office or taken over the phone.
  • Students have one UCSB transcript record, which includes a list of all courses taken, grades earned, degrees conferred, and honors received. Transcripts may not be separated by degree program.

UCSB Extension/Professional & Continuing Education (PaCE)

Attachments

  • Documents that are required and provided by other institutions or organizations (insurance forms, school forms, Common Application Letter, etc.) may be included as an attachment to be sent along with an official transcript.
  • Upload attachments (PDF, JPEG) via the Parchment storefront when placing an order.
  • Attachments for any of the printed transcript products are limited to a maximum of 5 pages per transcript.
